So. Who ever thought that i'd be updating this thing again, huh? Well, here i am, with just too much time on my hands and a computer in front of me for the first time in months. How's everyone doing? I only talk to like, four people on a daily/weekly basis, so i'm kind of out of the loop on anything going on outside of those four people. But yeah. Life's going pretty well. Just been hanging out. Working a whole lot. I'm a manager at GameStop now, which is pretty frickin' sweet, let me tell you. I basically stand around and talk about video games all day. It rocks my face. But yeah. Not a whole lot going on. Hopefully i'll get my laptop fixed someday (the hard drive died and i got the blue screen of death) and when i do maybe i'll actually get back on a regular update pattern. But in all honesty, don't hold your breath. ^_^;;

Okay. so i realized something tonight.
I absolutely DESPISE the stupid paid programing shit that's on the TV Guide channel late at night. I hate it SO MUCH!! Because it's not like you can just change the channel. No. You HAVE to watch it if you want to see what's on the other channels. It's like a huge scam to make you watch these pointless, annoying commercials until you snap and gouge your own eyes out with a rusty spoon. YARGH I HATE IT!!
But yeah. aside from that, everything is going well. Just kind of been chugging along. Lots of school work and whatnot. I haven't really seen anyone in boone besides my roommates (and i'm gonna include Aaron in there because he's here every night. Not that that's a bad thing!) because i've become kind of a hermit. But i went to Anime Club for the first time all semester last week! And i'm going again next week for AMV night! (ps Mike- do you want to show my Saiyuki or Saikano AMVs again? if you don't have them anymore, just let me know!)
So fall break is coming up, which is exciting. Our break is Oct. 19th and 20th, so if any Charlotte people are gonna be around then, we should hook up!!
That's pretty much it. Nothing interesting or anything like that. Hope everyone is doing well!!

So I have a job. I've only been there one day, and it already sucks. is that a bad sign?
REASONS TO NEVER EAT AT THE MOUNTAIN HOUSE:
1. The cooks smoke on the line while making your food.
2. They do everything with their bare hands, including making your food. (They never wash their hands either.)
3. The kitchen is filthy.
But yeah. and apparently they have a HUGE turnover rate. When i asked the other waitresses about it, they started laughing. The girl who trained me was the waitress who had worked there the longest, and she had only been there 7 months. >.< I don't know. Stephanie and I made a pact that we wouldn't quit until we had been there at least two weeks. We might start looking for other jobs before that though. I don't know.
Anyway... School has been going fine. classes are fine. my dorm room is the shit and it's all mine. I don't have my car up here this semester because i couldn't get a spot, so i have no idea when i'll be coming home again. which sucks. but i'll have it next semester, so i just gotta wait 3 months. not a problem.
BTW it has taken me about an hour to type this up.
I'm gonna go to bed now because i'm sleepy, but i promise that i will try to update more. and hey. i might even get online if the mood strikes me. You never know.

I was informed yesterday around 6:30 that my Aunt Linda had lost her battle with ovarian cancer. I'm going with my mom up to Virginia for the funeral. I have terrible cell service at my Uncle's house, but if you call and leave a message I will call you back.

So, i know it seems like i dropped off the face of the earth, but i promise i haven't! It turns out that i just have really shitty internet service when i'm at home. damn unreliable wireless. >.< But yeah. so i thought i'd give an update on the past couple of weeks.
Not a whole lot has been going on. I'm still unemployed, which sucks. apparently it's really hard to find a job in Charlotte. everyone is either not hiring, or looking for more permenant employees. which sucks for us poor college students. It does make me feel better that it's not just me though. everyone is having a hard time. but, because of my current unemployment, i have somehow become a housewife at age 20. I've done more laundry in the past two weeks than i've done in my entire life. and it's all been my sisters. i don't know how she has so many dirty clothes! she only ever wears like, two outfits! ever! it's weird. but yeah.
Dad's wedding was......interesting. got to see family that i hadn't seen in years, which was cool. and i got to see a bunch of dad's old friends that had apparently known me for years. go figure. other than that, it was weird. but that's pretty much was i was expecting, so yeah.
OMG ARUBA TOMORROW! I'm so excited. as of 11:25 tomorrow afternoon, until some time on June 17, i will be unavailable because i will be in Aruba with Allie!! ^_^ It's going to be awesome! Ocean, sun, alcohol, gambling, what could be better?! XD It's going to kick ass.
After Aruba, it's only a couple weeks until Katia comes down to visit! And we're gonna try to do a Boone/Hickory tour, so if your in that area and want us to visit, drop me a line and we'll set it up! She's gonna be here July 12-16, and we'll probably be hitting the Boone/Hickory area either the 14th or 15th. So mark your calanders!!
That's pretty much all i can think of to update, so i'll sign off now. I'll talk to everybody in a week!! XDDDDDDD

So everyone was making updates about how excited they are about going to AZ and i was getting jealous, so i thought i'd make an update about what i'm doing this weekend. And to all of you guys at con right now, fuck you up the ass. ( ^_^ just kidding!)
So tonight is the rehearsal dinner of my dad's wedding. I went dress shopping with Allie today so that she could get a pretty dress for tomorrow. The one she got is so pretty! and it matches my skirt so we'll match! She's going to be my pretty little arm candy tomorrow. ^_^
One of gwen's friends is actually living at our house now (long story, call me if you want the details) and i've been hanging out with her a lot. She's pretty cool, but she's only 15 and she makes me feel very old. But she's fun. she came dress shopping with us today.
But yeah. so that's my update. not really a whole lot going on. Going to Aruba in less than a month, and then Katia's coming down in July! ^_^ Super excitement.

Festering is bad. i learned that tonight.
btw. if there are any typos contribute it to the fact that i am very drunk. i got drunk with tom and stephanie and katia. and we played a drinking game and stephanie kept making me drink and it was very intense. i finished off a whole bottle of this cinnamon liquore stuff that was the same proof as tequila so i'm very drunk and i'm having trouble typing right now. like, i've already made so many typos. and i have an exam at 9:00 on wednesday morning so this is probably not very good but i've already studied for it so i should be fine. i'm just typing now because i can.
Allie i miss you. it's true. i can't wait to come home and get raging drunk with you. it's gonna be awesome.
Bryana i miss you. i wanna go out to dinner with you again. we had so much fun! and we have to watch Lois and Clark together because that is the most awesome show in the world!
Libby i miss you and wish we had stayed in touch better. you've been my friend for longer than any of my other friends and it makes me almost cry to think of the fact that we haven't talked to each other in months. i miss you so much. i love you.

So. The unthinkable has happened. I am sick. and when i say sick, i don't mean "Oh, i have a little sniffle." No. i am dying. >.< Christy said that she thinks i have a sinus infection. which sucks. she recommended Mucinex, but i don't know if i can afford it. which also sucks ass. and tonight is the Drag Show at Legends. Which i really want to go to, but i don't know if i'm going to be able to make it. Which sucks triple ass. I really want to try and get to Walmart so that i can get something to help me sleep with this cold/flu/black plague thing that i have. because i while i was able to fall asleep last night, i ended up waking up about every hour so that i could cough my lung out and blow my nose. I didn't get more than 1 1/2 hours of straight sleep last night. I feel so bad for Katia because i know i had to have woken her up a couple of times. But yeah. so all i want to do today is lay around and try not to die. So yeah. If anyone out there has some free time, feel free to come on over and bring me chicken soup. That goes for you too Charlotte/Raleigh/Wingate/Greensboro/any-other-place-i-forgot people!! You could drive up! It's a weekend!

Which FF Character Are You?
So...Locke. Don't know that guy. I know he's from FFVI, but i haven't played that yet. My second was Rikku, and my third was Zidane. So yeah.
Just waiting for Allie to get here. gonna run some errands on her day off. yupyup.
Saw Moonchild the other day over at Amy's house. Let me tell you, GREAT MOVIE. absolutely superb! Hyde and Gackt BOTH in the same movie. plus, Hyde is an awesome Asian!Vampire. which is just the shit. So yeah. Definitely recommending Moonchild to anyone to wants to watch it. Don't know how we'll watch it, but i can probably find a download somewhere.

So yeah. I do still have a livejournal account and i update it occasionally. ^_^;; i just haven't really had anything to type about. I don't know. It's been pretty humdrum around here lately. Nothing really to do. Going home tomorrow (technically today) for spring break. i don't know whether to woohoo abou that or not. It'll be great to not have to worry about class or anything, but being at home is going to be a pain in the ass. especially since everyone else is going to be back in school. Plus, (not that i'm not incredibly proud of her and very excited!) but since allie has a job now, and bryana works, nobody is really gonna be around. it's gonna suck. Caitlin said that if i wanted to, i could go to Raleigh for the last couple of days and hang out with her. i don't know if i'll do that, but i think i definitely will drive up and visit.
*Side Note* MUST SEE "THE HILLS HAVE EYES" WHILE I'M DOWN!! MUST!
Anyway, yeah. So i got bored tonight and went on google and did this fun blogsearch thing. you can put in your name and it will search all the blogs on the internet (that aren't private) and you can see if anyone has said anything about you that you didn't know. apparently, people use it when they hire you for a job. they look and see if your old job might of had a blog and written anything about you. That's what my CIS teacher said anyway. But yeah. didn't find anything about me, but did find out that there are a lot more "Brenna"s out there than i realzed.
XD it's taken me like, fourty five minutes to type this because i keep stopping and doing other things *coughfreecellcough* but yeah. so that's pretty much my life up till now.
OMG THAT GUY BIT A PEPPER! Sorry. Iron Chef moment. XD but yeah. so i hope that everyone who's on spring break now is having a good one, and for those of you who haven't had spring break yet, i hope yours is a great one! i'll see charlotte people tomorrow!
